Luis Gordillo (Sevilla, 1934)
Biography: Luis Gordillo, is an internationally renowned and highly regarded artist with works in numerous art museums in Europe and the United States. He has received the "Premio Velázquez de las Artes Plásticas" (2007) as well as the "Premio Nacional de Artes Plásticas" (1981), both awarded by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Culture. Luis Gordillo has artworks in both the MACBA and the Museo Reina Sofía. The Sevillian artist continues to apply his unique perspective in his painting, the evolution of which never ceases to amaze.
