Zosen
BIOGRAPHY
Zosen (Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1978) is a visual artist currently living and working in Barcelona. His first contact with urban culture was skateboarding and, later, graffiti. Influenced by the Punk movement and the shift towards "do it yourself" culture, he began as a self-taught painter and later studied art at the Escola de la Llotja in Barcelona, becoming a Senior Technician of Art and Design. He has been an active member of the graffiti scene in Barcelona since the early 90s, and he was also part of the NGO, Oveja Negra (Black Sheep). Zosen continues to develop small and large scale mural projects in addition to giving classes and courses on urban art and public spaces. His repertoire ranges from illustration, performance, and video, to desktop publishing and fashion design. He is co-founder of the fashion label “Animal Bandido” (Animal Bandit). He has participated in exhibitions and events both nationally and internationally, and his work has been exhibited in galleries in Europe, Asia, North America, and South America.
