Mural intervention by Mina Hamada and Kenor

Meridia Capital — an agent of cultural revitalization in Barcelona — presents this artistic intervention on the construction wall of the Smart building, neighboring the art center La Escocesa. On this occasion, the artists charged with stimulating the artistic fabric of the neighborhood are Mina Hamada and Kenor, artistically linked to La Escocesa and internationally recognized.

Mina Hamada and Kenor’s association to the neighborhood of 22@, through their time as artists working with La Escocesa, makes them a perfect fit for an intervention linking the last, present and future. This intervention has allowed them to reconnect to their foundations, while also playing a crucial role in the neighborhood’s link to its technological future while furthering a sense of community.
